Dreamy Portraits in Manila, By Ike Louie Natividad

Based in Manila, Ike Louie Natividad is a freelance photographer who shoots on a Fujifilm X-T20. Although he says he only got into photography in 2018, his work already has a defined, individual style.

Ike Louie's portraits tend to be cinematic, full of atmosphere and vibrant color. Shooting in natural environments and urban spaces, Ike Louie always makes creative use of background and props in his shots.

He says he's inspired by the friends and family who support him in his creative work. "My favorite type of photo to shoot is Asian vibes," he says. "More weird and dreamy."

Weird and dreamy is the perfect description for Ike Louie's photography—there's a sort of surreal, magical quality to many of his the images, really like portraits of people you would meet in a dream.
